Hereinafter "IBC"

This letter will confirm the understanding between IBC and SACC regarding the proposed cooperation

THE PARTIES

Being desirous of strengthening trade, investment, technology cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Switzerland, the Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) and the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC), here-in-after referred to as the parties, have entered into an Agreement of Cooperation, as follows:

OBJECTIVES

  1. The parties shall cooperate and do their utmost to further improve and expand trade, investment, technology cooperation relations between Cambodia and Switzerland.
  2. The parties shall regularly exchange information and review on expansion of trade, investment, technology between the two countries. To achieve this objective, it is mutually agreed that each contracting party shall supply the other with appropriate updated information and publications.
  3. Every possible facility and assistance shall be accorded to business trade missions from visiting Cambodia and Switzerland and vice versa. Letters of introduction from one party to the other shall be mutually honoured.
  4. The parties agree to support and encourage exchange of trade, investment, technology, as well as delegations and missions of businesspeople who wish to visit and do business with Cambodia and Switzerland.
  5. The parties shall take all necessary steps to ensure that this Agreement works to their mutual benefits, and that it is jointly reviewed occasionally on the written request from either party.

PERIOD OF COOPERATION

  1. The Agreement shall come into force as from the date of its signing until mutually revised by both parties.

COMMUNICATIONS

All notices, requests, consents and other communications required or permitted hereunder shall be in writing and shall be transmitted via fax, e-mail or by certified and registered airmail.

Done in duplicate and signed in Zurich, Switzerland, on November 27, 2009.
