After 163 years of service, we have expanded our network throughout 65 countries with 255 offices and employ more than 3,568 dedicated employees worldwide. In 2009, we managed over 61,000 port calls and handled over 450,000 TEUS, and our group's gross turnover was two and a half billion US dollars. It was in the same year when we took a decision to expand our geographical footprint into Cambodia.
Inchcape Shipping Services (Cambodia) Ltd. was very well established in early 2009 after having been appointed as an agend of NYK liner. In Cambodia, our business is mainly focused on liner activities in and out of Cambodia. Our service coverage is worldwide and it is on containerized cargoes only. In less than two years of service, we have grown the volume double and will continue to grow in the following years. In addition to liner service, we stared up the government service by providing logistics and transportation for a few projects that were awarded by the US Navy. Sooner or later, we will involve with Owner Protective Agent (OPA) service and we are ready for anything to come.
