BlueOrchard Finance is a Geneva based aset manager specialized in investing in microfinance institutions and other enterprises that serve low-income communities. We currently manage eight funds with over USD 1 billion in assets under management, invested in over 40 countries worldwide.
We have been investing in Cambodia since 2003. We currently offer senior debt to qualified financial institutions. We are working on new products including subordinated debt, unhedged local currency loans and a fund targeting start-up institutins. We will continue to develop new products that respond to market demand.
BlueOrchard opened its first office in Asia in Cambodia in August 2010. The objectives of the Asia office are to (i) understand better the market of Cambodia and better serve our clients here with the appropriate produces and (ii) act as a regional hub for our continued expansion throughout Asia.
