Pierre Tami, a Swiss national, has been working in Asia since 1982, but moved his family to Cambodia in 1990. In 1993 as Social Entrepreneurs Pierre and his wife Simonetta started Hagar International. After fifteen years of building up successful social programs for women and children, as well as several social businesses, in Cambodia, Vietnam and Afghanistan, Mr Tami is currently setting up a new firm that will provide support services to social enterprises in the region as well as starting new social enterprises. He retains his seat on the board of Hagar Social Enterprise Group and Hagar International as the Founder. Pierre is also the Swiss Consul General here in Cambodia.
Pierre chairs the Investment Sub-Committee, a position which he has held since 2008.
