Cambodian. Born in 1960, he was one of the founders of the Association of Cambodian Local Economic Development Agencies (ACLEDA) in 1993 and became its President the same year. He was a member of the Advisors Group to the United Nations' International Year of Microcredit, 2005. In addition to his role with the bank, he is Chairman of ACLEDA NGO, a trust which is the majority Shareholder of ACLEDA Bank Plc. With the Governor of the National Bank he Co-Chairs the Working Group on Banking and Financial Services in the Government Private Sector Forum and is a member of the Council of the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC). He is also a board member of a Not-For-Profit Organization, Youth Star.
Mr. In Channy sits on three government committees: The Credit Committee for Rural Development (CCRD), the Sub-Committee for Corporate Governance, and he is the Secretary General of the Cambodia Youth Leadership Awards Committee. He joined the Executive Committee in 2010.
